Snow removal site measurement
A useful snow proposal starts with a clear picture of the property. We help commercial snow contractors document service areas, estimate visible paved area and identify operational details before winter covers them.
Build the bid around the site.
An annotated property reference your estimator and field crew can discuss together.
Where it helps
- Commercial parking lots and access drives
- Sidewalk and pedestrian-zone planning
- Snow-storage and loading-area discussions
- Outdoor salt-pile measurement as a separate scope
Your deliverables
- Site map with customer-approved service boundaries
- Estimated paved area and sidewalk lengths or areas
- Visible obstacles, islands and access annotations
- Separate zones for different service requirements
Final formats, coverage and review requirements are confirmed in your proposal.
From brief to report
Confirm the contract area
Your team defines what belongs in the bid. Property ownership lines and snow-service boundaries are different; we do not infer either from an aerial image.
Capture before snow cover
Plan a clear-ground visit and review parked vehicles, tree cover and restricted areas. Note features that require a ground walk.
Organize the estimate
Separate lots, drives and walkways. Provide area estimates and annotations to support your own equipment, labor and service-level calculations.
Scope and review requirements
Site area is one input to a snow bid. Storm frequency, service triggers, obstacles, stacking constraints, labor, equipment and salt application requirements still need contractor judgment. Aerial imagery does not establish drainage, pavement traction or hidden obstacles. Indoor salt storage is subject to separate access and capture review.
Tell us about the site.
Send the property address, service boundary, bid deadline and the units used in your estimating process. Include exclusions, sidewalk requirements and any property-manager instructions.

Before we fly
Can you measure a property that is already snow-covered?
Snow can hide curbs, pavement edges and obstacles. Existing imagery or a later capture may be more appropriate; any obscured area must be flagged rather than treated as a confirmed measurement.
Will you calculate our bid price?
We provide the agreed site measurements and visual record. Your team sets pricing, labor, equipment allocation and service terms.
